The BASC actively promotes the play, knowledge, and development of the sport of soccer in Southeast Iowa. The BASC sponsors recreational leagues and a traveling, competitive program of teams for area soccer players. Our club also supports annual referee clinics and coach licensing clinics. Each year, the BASC hosts two annual soccer tournaments: the BASC Soccer Classic and the BASC Sizzling Sixes.

Do you love playing soccer? Do you want to improve your soccer skills? Do you want to learn how to be a better team player? Do you want to play with a team of kids who love to play soccer too? Do you like to have fun? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then the BASC is for YOU! You do not need to be a "super-star" to join the BASC. You just need to be at least 4 years old, love to play soccer, and want to improve.

The area's only program offering quality instruction by coaches licensed by the Iowa Soccer  Association. USSF-trained and certified referees officiate games. Programs tailored for appropriate  age and skill levels. Opportunities to participate on traveling competitive teams. Chance to play  organized soccer almost year-round. High quality, well-maintained soccer fields at the Burlington  RecPlex. Affordable fees due to fundraisers, with some scholarships available. Plus, you can qualify for a discounted registration if you volunteer to give us a hand. Volunteer positions include: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Competitive Team Committee, Tournament Committee, Tournament Volunteer, Fund-Raiser, Sponsor, Referee, and more.
